Armed policemen secure the shootout scene while investigators inspect a dead military security escort of congressional candidate Del Abaya in Bacocor, Cavite province south of Manila on May 10, 2010 following a clash between Abaya's security escort and police outside the Bacoor police municipal station. Two of the escorts were shot dead after they confronted policemen in Bacoor town for detaining some of the congressman's supporters, while a policeman was seriously wounded said provincial police chief Senior Superintendent Primitivo Tabujara. Ten people were killed in outbreaks of violence as millions of Filipinos went to the polls in nationwide elections, authorities said.
