We went to the Manhattan to see the premiere of the new Web series “I Kissed a Vampire.”
The two stars of this web series are Lucas Grabeel as “Dylan” and Drew Seeley as “Trey.”
This rock musical is about a regular guy who goes on a camping trip and gets bitten by a bat. He then goes home and realizes that he is growing fangs and turning into the undead… a real vampire!
Meanwhile, Trey can tune into Dylan’s life (this is one of his vampire powers) and see what is going on. Trey tries to help Dylan understand that being a vampire has its perks, and tries to convince Dylan to turn the love of his life Sara (played by Adrian Slade) into a vampire, so they can spend the rest of their lives together. After he turned into a vampire, he could not resist biting her, so he would turn away from kissing her. She was mad at him, but he didn't want to turn her into a vampire.
Lucas Grabeel sang and danced great. So did Drew Seeley. Even though they both had to improvise dance moves, they made it look as if it was choreographed.
Rising star Adrian Slade, was an amazing singer and actor. We loved her outfits and her voice. We were surprised that she was not already famous.
The singing and dancing of all of the actors put together is an unmistakable and unforgettable performance. We love this series and cannot wait for more! If you want to see this series online (www.ikissedavampire.com), go to iTunes or youtube.com
Out of 5, we would rate this 4 smiley faces. “I Kissed A Vampire” was absolutely great. This is nothing like you have ever seen before. The actors were fantastic. We hope to see more of the series in the near future.
