Paumanok Vineyards

The winery is a renovated turn-of-the-century barn that houses a fermentation tank room and lab.

The chenin blanc is definitely worth a purchase as are the rieslings. Ursula Massoud, who owns the winery with her husband Charles is often on hand to pour for tastings and tell stories about the beginnings.

In August, 2004, Paumanok was named "Winery of the Year" at the New York Wine and Food Classic.

They will do weddings and private parties on their deck and in the tasting room.
