hit you with too much to handle? How about the $25,000 PSL bomb the Jets let loose?
Whether you are a frustrated pro football fan or just someone looking for something different to do on a fall weekend, Long Island's college football community has a lot to offer. Here's a look at the top local teams and why they're worth seeing.

Selected fans will have their seats upgraded. And just in case you are looking for a little face time, the game will be televised live on MSG.

The Pride's homecoming game tomorrow against the University of Rhode Island will be a special day. The first 1,500 fans who show up to the 13,000-seat James M. Shuart Stadium will receive pom-poms, and there's a free postgame party at 4 p.m.
For anyone looking to get the kids out of the house, "Touchdown Pack Day" on Nov. 8 and 15 includes four general admission tickets, four hot dogs or personal pizzas, four bags of chips and four sodas for $44.
