The Nassau County Veterans Monument Fund, a nonprofit organization, offers all veterans throughout the United States, living or deceased, who served the country during wartime and peacetime, a place on its "Wall of Honor," located at Veterans' Plaza in Eisenhower Park. If requested, a 50-word or less military biography is housed in the veterans tower. Those interested in including their name or that of a loved one should call 516-681-8214.Proof of military service and a $100 contribution is required.
