Jerry Tate stands in the cockpit of his Sunfish in attempt to catch some wind and steer his sunfish towards a mark moored in a virtually boatless Hempstead Harbor on the first day of frostbite sailing. Frostbite sailing, one of the many activities of the Sea Cliff Yacht Club, is a mult-generational sport for avid sailors who like to sail throughout the winter season.
