"Drivers start you engines" wasn't exactly what we heard in Herald's Square early Monday morning, but there were 33 race car drivers lined up in their starting positions for this Sunday's INDY 500 there.
We saw comedian Brian Regan at the Capital One Bank Theatre in Westbury. Before the show, we had a chance to interview him. We were extremely nervous when we first arrived, but once Brian came into the room we immediately relaxed because of his welcoming presence. What would you do if you had to catch your own food? Adam Gertler, star of the Food Network show "Will Work for Food," has been learning all about earning his lunch. We met Adam at Emilio's Restaurant & Pizza in Commack. Adam graduated from Commack High School in 1995 and also went to Commack Middle School, where we are students. He used to hang out here (and the bowling alley) when he was younger.
