Co-owner Vic Latino, a onetime DJ at the dance station WKTU, has turned the former Canoe Place Inn into a 46,000-square-foot entertainment mall of sorts, with separate music rooms, a sushi bar and a "shopping boutique" that sells shoes, swimsuits and lingerie.
Diddy is hosting his annual Independence Day party here on July 3.
"We wanted to bring some life back into the building," Latino said. "Our goal is to bring A-list entertainment in for 16 weeks straight, every Saturday, and give people a reason to drive out east."
