The Surf Lodge

From the owners of CAIN in Manhattan comes The Surf Lodge, the hot new 32-room hotel and hangout spot in Montauk in the space once occupied by the Lakeside Inn on Fort Pond.

It's a half-mile from the beach, but with a hotel, pool, lounge, deck, bar and restaurant, it might be hard to leave.

A 2,600 square-foot outdoor lounge figures to make this place an awesome hangout spot for those looking for Hamptons cool without the big, bad Hamptons nightclub feel. The bar will feature tropical cocktails designed by mixologists specifically for the hotel, and the restaurant former "Top Chef" Sam Talbot as its executive chef.

Surf Lodge also will host a concert series this summer, which kicks off Memorial Day Weekend with Julian Marley.

Other amenities include a retail store stocked with fashions hand-picked by designer Tracey Feith, yoga classes held on a private deck, in-room spa services, bike rentals, surf lessons and more.
