Gators is a friendly, casual local place that can seat up to 55 and accomodate parties up to 20. The restaurant has a high, tin ceiling, booths in the back and is sprinkled with images of alligators. The American cuisine features marinated steaks, fresh seafood, salads and pastas. An 18 ounce, Black Angus sirloin comes with a house salad and choice of vegetable or potato for $23.99. The linguini alligator has clams, shrimp, baby lobster, Maryland crab and chopped clams in a sauce over linguini for $18.95. Another specialty of the house is the St. Louis-style ribs, a big rack basted in a tangy barbecue sauce to fall-off-the-bone perfection. For $18.95, it comes with cole slaw, choice of vegetable or potato and a house salad. There is a small bar, and happy hour runs from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.
