It's a mellow, mostly 20-something crowd Saturday nights at the "half pub, half club" Crazy Donkey. Live cover bands jam on an elevated stage, trading sets with a DJ to keep the mood shifting from groove-happy to dance party. Appetizers are served well past midnight in cozy all-wood bar area behind the dance floor. Early on, there's plenty of elbow room there and on the outdoor patio, where scattered bistro tables and concrete seating ledges encourage conversation. -Shawna VanNess

HoursFriday & Saturday until 4 a.m.; Friday Corporate Happy Hour begins at 4 p.m.; Doors open at 9 p.m. on Saturday nights. Open Saturday and Sunday afternoons for live shows. Concerts are also held at night from Saturday through Thursday.
