ITALIAN. You won't find faddish food here. And you won't find fruit-flavored martinis. You won't find many young hipsters. And you won't hear a lot of noise or eat in a theme-park atmosphere.

In the space that once housed Bouley, what you will find is a pretty yellow-washed dining room brightened with lots of fresh flowers, a polished, professional staff, courteous service, a noise level way below what you have to contend with in many other downtown restaurants, and a clientele that leans toward the higher-levels of downtown corporate and law-firm stardom.

The menu celebrates Northern Italy, with a selection of pastas and risottos, seafood, roast chicken, veal, rabbit, and venison. The wine list is extensive - and expensive - as is everything else at this classical restaurant.
