Turtle Crossing is barbecue central in the Hamptons. The very casual, very good spot has been around since 1994, and the crowds haven't stopped. Come here for barbecued beef brisket and pulled pork, ribs and chicken, and, for a change, fish tacos and hamburgers. Enjoy the cornbread and the hush puppies. Actually, enjoy pretty much everything. Just as tasty for take-out as it is for eating-in. And given the popularity, that's a sensible option deep in summer.
Hours: Thursday to Monday for dinner. Saturday and Sunday for lunch. Open every day in season.
