Dining beside the scenic West Sayville Boat Basin, you can relish the illusion of being away on vacation.

Paper and plastic dinnerware and a few overcooked items are minor shortcomings. Highlights include steamed littlenecks with jalapeņos, a zesty ribs and fried shrimp combo and a nicely turned-out herb-crusted salmon with whole grain mustard sauce.

The restaurant also offers a sushi menu.

Open seasonally in warm weather. Lunch, Monday to Friday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.; dinner, Sunday to Thursday, 3 to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 3 to 10 p.m.
