Chrebet's is part sports lounge, part restaurant. It's the new enterprise from former New York Jets wide receiver Wayne Chrebet. There are many personal touches, including door handles designed to sport the ex-player's number 80. The bar and dining area have pulsating music as the background sound, waitresses clad in a high-heel leather boot style that accentuates qualities other than table service, and a menu heavy on steak. The place is devoted to protein and testosterone. The better dishes are the straightforward shrimp cocktail and the porterhouse. The downstairs lounge keeps the action going.
