There are few sites as scenic as the one Harbor Bistro occupies, overlooking the marina at Three Mile Harbor. Sip a drink as the sun sets. A swan glides by one way, a sailboat another.

Chef co-owner Damien O'Donnell's New American-French bistro menu optimizes the bounty of the surrounding land and sea. Start dinner with a toasted corn and jumbo lump crab cake or island-style tuna poke with avocado, tomatoes and macademia nuts. Entrees include crab-smothered local striper with corn-leek ragout, fresh steamed lobster and or pork tenderloin a la Normande.

The restaurant features a three-course prix fixe nightly from 5 to 6:30 p.m. with an extensive array of choices. During those same hours, drinks at the bar are $2 less than usual and accompanied by complimentary hors d'ouerves.

There's seating both indoors and out, but, weather permitting, out in the fragrant summer air is where you want to be.

Hours

Seasonal dinner hours beginning May 3rd. Until Memorial Day, only Thursday and Sunday, 5 to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 5 to 11 p.m.; after that, Sunday to Thursday, 5 to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 5 to 11 p.m.
