Page One is a little headliner. It's a friendly, satisfying restaurant for new American cooking that's prepared with care. You can enjoy the elemental "Page One Burger," which while not a stop-the-presses production, is quite good. The crab cakes with pineapple saksa and the sliced pork tenderloin with tropical fruit glaze are among the lunchtime competitors, along with a quartet of salads to which you may add either chicken or shrimp in various guises. Trout amandine and the surf-turf union of scampi-style shrimp rib steak sparked with smoked paprika are dinner specials. Page One also offers a respectable cocktail menu, with crawfish beignets and coconut-crusted shrimp as accompaniments for the drinks.
