Since 1998, Bollinger's Restaurant & Ice Cream Parlor has occupied the Main Street location long inhabited by the late, lamented Von Leesen's. Bollinger's looks just like an ice cream parlor should, with a candy-cane color scheme of red and white, and old-timey framed pictures.
Homemade ice cream is the main event here, with dozens of flavors turned into all manner of sundaes, shakes, malts and sodas. But there is also an extensive selection of burgers, sandwiches and wraps, as well as dinner entrees and salads.
Bollingers also does serious breakfasts, with well-priced specials offered on weekdays until 11 a.m. and weekdays until noon.
