CoCo Restaurant

207 Main Street
East Hampton, NY 11937
631-324-5008

CoCo has been the name of the restaurant in the Maidstone Arms Inn since the beginning of 2006. The inn itself is much older, dating to the 1920s in a Greek Revival-style home from the early 1800s. But the foundation is from the late 1600s.

CoCo has three rooms and garden dining in the summer, each with its own feel. The main room is lined with custom wallpaper, there is a water-themed room, and one with a fireplace and floor-to-ceiling murals painted by the owner of the inn. Live jazz is played Fridays, with classical guitar and piano on Saturday.

Appetizers run from shellfish bisque for $10 to fried breaded brie with sweet red pepper puree for $7. For an entree, you might try the stuffed flounder filets with shitake mushroom and crabmeat, baby bok choy and saffron cream for $29, or the macadamia-crusted lamb chops with watercress salad, fried fennel and herb demi-glace for $35.The restaurant has a $22 prix fixe menu with a choice of entree and soup or salad all night every night. There is an extensive international wine list.
