260-acre nature preserve features wetlands, ponds, sand barrens, spring-fed streams and woodlands. Educational programs include nature walks, pond ecology, birdwatching and tree and flower identification. Picnic tables and hiking on designated trails. School and group programs available by appointment. Horseback riding permitted on more than 5 miles of bridal paths (no horse rentals). Educational programs in spring for school groups.
Hours: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; trails open dawn to dusk
