This 99-acre park (owned by New York State, Suffolk County and East Hampton Town, which manages it with the Nature Conservancy) opened in 1991. It has ocean beach, freshwater wetlands, hiking and biking trails, in addition to 2 bunkers (designed to look like cottages from the water) built for surveillance during World War II
