Site of the nation's oldest cattle ranch. Portion owned by Suffolk County; privately owned section with separate stables across the road. Same operator runs both stables. County stable: 50 horses, trail and pony rides only, trail rides on beach and through 4,000 acres in Theodore Roosevelt County Park, beach and trail rides, living history tours via horse drawn wagon for groups, private rides available; reservations recommended. Private stable: Working cattle ranch (80 head), riding lessons (English and Western), boarding, training, living history tours for schools, scouts and camps
