According to co-owner Joe Ceraulo, the pit master goes by the single name of George, no surname, and learned his craft in Memphis. One of George's specialties is something called pulled pork blankets, thin pastry crust stuffed with pulled pork.
The place, situated where Benigan's used to be, offers table service, a full bar as well as curbside takeout.
Hours: Same menu all day; 4 to 10:30 p.m. Monday to Thursday; Friday, 4 to 11 p.m.; Saturday, 1 to 11 p.m.; Sunday, 1 to 10 p.m. Bar open until 2 a.m. daily.
