You thought you were stuffed yesterday with the turkey and trimmings? Tomorrow night, Brand New leads another feast at the Nassau Coliseum. The Levittown lads play their biggest Long Island venue yet, and they're bringing lots of friends: Glassjaw, Manchester Orchestra and Thrice will play the main stage and Vinnie Caruana, Brian Bonz, Robbers and Hot Rod Circuit's Andy Jackson will fill out an acoustic second stage. Dig in.

What critics say

"This wasn't a rock concert. It was a group-therapy session. A lingering 'You Won't Know' initiated the first of the evening's many sing-alongs - or should I say, sing-alouds. Really loud. When frontman Jesse Lacey sang the opening line, 'Hey, hey, hey, Mr. Hangman, go get your rope,' a thousand plus were right there with him, voicing the words for precious life."

- Carole Giambalvo, Tampa Bay Times,
a St. Petersburg Times blog

". . . Material from the new release 'Daisy' also went over well. 'At the Bottom,' a twang-tinged tale of desperation, and the emotional 'You Stole' were standouts. While their new sound isn't about to be mistaken for the stately art-rock of Wilco, it's certain to please fans of the Pixies and Cursive."

- Bill Brownlee, The Kansas City Star

"There were no pyrotechnics or awesome light displays. Instead the stage was stripped, aside from a couple of screens behind the stage displaying black-and- white imagery. It was clear the band wanted to keep the focus on its music and that's just where it should be."

- Kelly Wilson, Phoenix New Times

The albums

September's "Daisy" was Brand New's fourth album release. Here's a look at where they've been:

Your Favorite Weapon (2001) - The pop-punk album that introduced Brand New to the world gave us the underground hit, "Jude Law and a Semester Abroad."

Deja Entendu (2003) - A more mature, more even outing than "Weapon," "Deja Entendu" showcased Vin Accardi and Jesse Lacey's songwriting, more notably on the breakthrough "The Quiet Things That No One Ever Knows."

The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me (2006) - The band's turn toward more straightforward rock incorporated some outside influences (the Cure, Coheed and Cambria).

Daisy (2009) - Brand New's most intense album to date, almost heading into thrash-metal territory.
